Ben Einstein releases his second single as Neeto, a cover of Michelle Branch’s 2001 single “Everywhere.”
Speaking about the song: “I wanted to reimagine its instrumentation while retaining its singalong melody and hook, which to me is the core of what makes the song itself so great. Especially during this pandemic, I’ve found it extremely comforting to lean into what’s nostalgic and sweet. So that’s where it comes from.”
The single will be released everywhere 🌎 on January 8th and is accompanied by a karaoke-esque music video.
Previously and concurrently Ben is known for his work as keyboardist, rhythm guitarist, background vocalist, and pineapple playing in Oakland swing punk band Van Goat. Van Goat toured Europe in 2019 and has shared the stage with Dengue Fever and The Legendary Shack Shakers among many others.

Now as Neeto, Ben has released “The Fishing Song,” a coming of age tale about a young boy’s encounter with a dastardly and villainous fish monster. It is a song, an animated puppet show music video, and a comic book – written, animated, and designed entirely by Ben himself. You can learn more about “The Fishing Song” and read its EPK here.
